- Bolan's music at its best

If you're a Bolan fan you'll love this, and the people who put together this material need to be congratulated. Don't wait for it to sell out like the previous bump'n'grind collection of session takes. Even though I've been a fan continuously since 1970, all the material here sounds new - my favourite stuff :

'Stand by me' and 'Do you wanna dance' on a par with any other cover I've heard (including JL's).

Inbetween the music, Bolan's fun working style and humour shines through.

- A treat for the fanatics!!

How in God's name did the major label that owned these masters justify dumping them at an auction?

Well, who knows. But here is a great companion to the "20th Century ..."Box set import, because this has tons of alternate takes and unedited endings/jams from the Slider-ish era that should have been presented on that box!

A bit pricy, but a must have for "the freaks"!
