Disco de T. Rex: “Final Cuts”

Needless to say, this is a "must have" for Marc Bolan fans. We can finally hear "Mellow Love", "20th Century Baby", "Shy Boy" and the other final tracks the way Marc recorded them and in ASTOUNDING clarity. The mid-nineties Edsel/Demon versions of these tracks are inferior. Also of interest are a few tracks from "Dandy in the Underworld" that were remixed from the original master tapes. The recordings are brilliantly clear but very thin sounding. The 3 bonus tracks are filler and could have been omitted without anyone missing them. The Gloria Jones vocal on "Tame My Tiger" is uninspired and even robotic.

I always dreamed that this recording existed somewhere and my dream finally came true. 30 years later but still appreciated! Overall a very nice package. Highly recommended.
