Disco de T. Rex: “Get It On”

This CD is a "must have" for the Marc Bolan/T. Rex fan.....It is a collection of many of their great tracks, alot of acoustics and let's you feel like you are right there with them when they recorded. It's a nice addition to an already great collection of a wonderful artist of which his talent will never die!

T. Rex rocked. And it is documented on this fine cd. Only gripe is the slightly generic packaging, otherwise good collection of alternate takes of some of Marc Bolan and company's better known songs.

Marc Bolan and his band T. Rex helped define and make popular the glam scene of the 70s. This disc is a greatest hits that has a couple electric, but the majority are acoustic versions of the songs we know and love. Even though this is a bit of a bummer, it is not a bad thing. Bolan knew how to write a song, meaning no matter how they are played they still rock. If you are a T. Rex fan already buy to see if it tickles your Bolan taste bud. If you are a newcomer to T. Rex, then i suggest buying another Best Of, or buy their best album: Electric Warrior.
