Take That Album: “Greatest Day: Take That Present the Circus Live”

one of the best groups on earth and unknown in the US....great tunes great lyrics....

I live in the United States and had not heard of Take That before this summer. By accident, I saw them on a youtube video when I was looking for something else. I have been hooked ever since. You cannot buy their music in regular stores here, so thank goodness for amazon.com. This cd has two discs--one from their Circus tour and one from astripped down session at Abbey Road. I thought I would be really excited about the live show because I think their singing is better now and the arrangements to their songs are better now than on their earlier recorded versions from the 90s (when they just sound really young). However, I actually like the paired down versions on the second cd even more. Listen the the Abbey Road version of "The Circus." If it does not make your heart tie up in a knot than you either have no regrets in your life or you are happier than is probably legal.

Although Take That put on the greatest show live the album is good but not as good as being there. I prefered the Abbey Road sessions and thought that was great.
