- A Mixed Bag- but not all bad

As a compilation of TD music drawn from a number of films, maybe my expectations were too high. But I am rather disappointed that only about half of the material is actually from real TD recordings- the beginning and end of the disc is arranged and performed by three guys I have never heard of- Mark Ayres and Daniel Caine, and John Beal. All totalled these arrangements make up on 20 or so of the 60 minute disc- but still I felt that this should have been made more explicit. If I wanted covers I could get those elsewhere. That being said you would probably think that this disc would get 1 star- but the quality of the music still remains very high. In fact- I love the first track (Legend) so much that I have to give the music five stars. Thus the average comes out to three. But in hindsight, since the Suite from Legend is so far above anything else on the disc- and that soundtrack is available independently, I would recommend you simply skip this disc and buy the Legend soundtrack. All in all, if you want a sampler of TD soundtracks, with excerpts from 7 film scores then this disc might be for you. Some of these scores are relatively hard to find, so some purpose is served by this variety. Still the disc has an unfocused feel as I felt the tracks could have been sequenced better- and I wish there had been a much longer excerpt from Legend- more than just seven and half minutes. There is some great Legend music still unreleased- especially the rare 'Prologue'- I would love to see that on disc some day.

- This is an excellent compilation

This album is terrible perfect! There is a mixture of soundtracks from diverse movies. The songs from Streethawk are really, really inspirational. No way to say this is a pure new age or it's just simply spiritual, everything in this CD has a profound meaning and composition.
