Tapes 'n TapesTapes ‘n Tapes is an indie rock band which formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States in 2003. The band consists of Josh Grier (vocals, guitar), Matt Kretzmann (keyboards, horns), Erik Appelwick (bass, vocals) and Jeremy Hanson (drums). The band has released three albums, "The Loon" (2005), "Walk It Off" (2008) and "Outside" (2011). Formed in the winter of 2003 at Carleton College, Tapes 'n Tapes gained popularity after a series of write-ups on music blogs, first on EAR FARM then on sites such as Music For Robots and Gorilla vs. Bear, leading some to cite them as the most recognizable examples of a "blog band".
