Comedy rockers Tenacious D will release a new studio album this spring. The wonderfully misspelled Rize of The Fenix is the third record from the duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass. Yesterday the pair offered a taste of what is to come by sharing a piece of the title track. as the song suggests, “Rize of the Fenix” picks up the narrative from the group’s prior album and film, The Pick of Destiny ...

Jack White, Beck, Bon Iver, Pretty Lights, Tenacious D, The Shins, Beirut, Girl Talk and The Roots are among the acts slated to perform at the Sasquatch! Music Festival this spring.

Tenacious D, the mock-rock duo comprised of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, will release its third album and first effort in six years, "Rize of the Fenix," in May.

Beck, Bon Iver, Jack White, The Shins, Pretty Lights and Tenacious D are just a few of the headliners of this year's Sasquatch! festival, May 25-28 at the Gorge Amphitheatre. Festival passes go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 11 at Sasquatchfestival.com.
