AC played in Denton, TX on 7/12/03 at a place called Rubber Gloves Rehearsal studios. I was friends with the person in charge of booking, and she hooked up me with an opening DJ slot. I am by no means a pro DJ. I just like to occasionally mix two IPODS and play strictly late 70's minimal and coldwave. It was a really lame crowd, and hardly anyone was there for my set or AC, unfortunately. After my set, Avey and Panda took the stage and proceeded to hypnotize the small crowd with a very beautifully monotonous 30 minute set with lots of deranged vocals and twin guitars (I believe). I met Geo that night at the merch table, and we subsequently even traded a few videos by mail over the coming year or two. I actually taped that show, and sent them a dvd as well. I was really impressed at how nice Geo was, and little did I know I would become as obsessed as I am today!"
