Weekend Rock List: Songs That Make You Want To Commit Violent Acts You know the progression: A song starts off as somewhat tolerable, then becomes annoying, then – with time and heavy rotation – becomes something that makes you actually want to hurt yourself or somebody else every time you hear it. Here are five tracks that do that to us. Which songs bring out the beast in you? Smash Mouth, “All Star” Natasha Bedingfield, “Unwritten” Black Eyed Peas, “My Humps” Creed, “With Arms Wide Open” Cranberries, “Zombie”

Gwyneth Paltrow's Thanksgiving RecipesGwyneth Paltrow continues with her lifestyle newsletter GOOP, sending out tips and advice to interested people who sign up on goop.com. One week before Thanksgiving her GOOP email contained her favorite Thanksgiving menu and recipes for the dishes. Fresh from filming a cooking show with Mario Batali, Paltrow plans to cook for a crowd next week. Paltrow, married to British Coldplay singer Chris Martin, has two young children. Thanksgiving is, without a doubt, my favorite holiday. I love when everyone comes together and celebrates the idea of gratitude, something we all mean to do every day, but seem to lose sight of most of the time. I also love the cooking - the days of planning and chopping and basting. This year, I decided to work out three variations on the traditional meal: a big group, a small gathering and a cozy dinner for two. Turkey will always be the main event of Thanksgiving (at least in my house) and a whole turkey is the way to go if you're feeding at least 12. But if your party is smaller, the stuffed turkey breast turns out to be a great halfway point. Brining it overnight insures that you don't need to baste it and it has a quick cooking time. Why should things be any less festive if dinner is just for two? I came up with these stuffed turkey burgers which were a giant hit in my house. They are the perfect solution for anyone who isn't feeding a big group (or for a big group that wants to try something different!). Mostly, make sure that no matter what type of meal you are having, you take a moment to think about how much you do have (health, love, friendship, passion, perspective, appreciation, intellect, reason, kindness) and reflect on how you can share more of it with others. --- Gwyneth Paltrow MENUS Thanksgiving for a Crowd... dolores' drummer had a seizure - omg! oh drama!!! i was down at house of blues for dolores o'riordan's concert which kicked off with a bang with her cranberries tune zombie (she totally rocked - everyone was really digging that song) she sang two more songs and at the end of the third song - something was obviously very wrong with the drummer - she quickly called for the lights to be cut and an ambulance to be called because her drummer was having some kind of seizure! everything got really quiet & intense - i was feeling faint myself - i so don't handle medical emergencies well at all! after a few minutes it was announced that due to unforeseeable circumstances the show was canceled and the venue was quickly cleared! i completely understand - i just hope her drummer is going to be ok! hopefully she'll be swinging by los angeles again - i'd love to see her again - she looked amazing & sounded great! i must give a special shout out to my new pals angie & shlomy who i met tonight - both were total sweethearts and i look forward to seeing them again! below is ms. o'riordan's video for her new single ordinary day off her debut solo album are you listening? which you must pick up - she's got such a killer voice - along with some promo pics! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo!

Once Again, You Read It Here First! As PerezHilton.com told you about days ago..... Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are rekindling their romance and went on a date this past Saturday night. Our sources spotted them at the Sunset Marquis hotel in the evening, but Us Weekly now has new information about their romantic date the week before! The couple met up for lunch at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe in Malibu on November 12th. "She didn't eat much," a witness says. "She drank double vodka cranberries. When they got up, Jessica was rubbing his back. You could definitely tell they were on a date." Loose as a goose sipping the Grey Goose!!! Mayer left a $40 tip on the $100 bill. "She's taking her time with it," a Simpson pal says. Adds a Mayer source, "It's a flirtation. I wouldn't call it full-on dating, but there is a fondness. He doesn't like the attention, but he likes her. He wants to avoid the public scrutiny of last time." Good luck lovebirds! We like these two together. We hope they can make it work out!

girl talk's 'let me see you' - a packed mashup!good morning! oh gosh i'm totally tired but last night was way awesome - although george michael didn't sing everything i wanted to hear - he left out three very important songs in my opinion and i'll let you know what they are when i do a review post on the show this weekend - other than that i had an excellent time - everyone was up on their feet most of the time - myself included! right now i've got the latest mashup selection from DJ paul v. - this one is jam packed with everyone from fleetwood mac to tone loc! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo † FROM DJ PAUL V.In the mashup world, some people look at Girl Talk (aka Greg Gillis) as the ultimate party starter, while others sometimes poo-poo his "everything but the kitchen sink" ADD approach to loading up his tracks. Sometimes just when you're diggin' a combo in the mix, it soon becomes something totally different. Me, I fall someplace in the middle, because there is no denying that Gillis can jam a party with his skills. His debut CD 'Night Ripper' was a major sensation, and he's now dropping the follow up, Feed The Animals. It's impossible to list everything here, but you'll peep some Donna Summer, Gwen Stefani, Bizarre Inc., Bowie, Daft Punk, Fleetwood Mac, Tone Loc, M.I.A., The Cranberries...and more! † Listen to Girl Talk - Let Me See You [.mp3 5.6mb] † Enjoy - DJ Paul V. Dolores O'Riordan talks about raising kids after The Cranberries One of the best benefits of having a solo career, Dolores O'Riordan recently revealed, was being able to breastfeed her daughter Dakota Rain, 2, for as long as she wanted. While fronting The Cranberries, Dolores said a return to the band always meant a premature end to the breastfeeding relationship she shared with her two previous children, 9-year-old Taylor Baxter and 6-year-old Molly. For the first time in my life, I didn't have the band waiting. I didn't have to go back to rehearsals at three months or four months and break the nursing. I got to sit around a little bit longer and all I had to worry about was feeding the baby. That was quite nice.Dolores says her new song 'Ordinary Day' was inspired by Dakota. When you're a mother and you look at your little girl sometimes, you have a flash where that could be yourself. They just remind you of when you were small. Back then, I was thinking, 'Gosh, what if I really knew I was four or five what lay ahead of me?' You'd love to make life just so perfect for them but you know that they have to go challenges and the ups and downs of growing up.Dolores and her husband Don Burton will celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary next month.
