The Drifters Album: “16 Greatest Hits [Deluxe]”

This is the worst impersonation of a former music group that I have ever heard!!! If you like country and western renditions (complete with drum machine accompanyment) then this one will good for you when you and line dancing!! Its a definite rip-off. I'm tryin to get a refund.

If you want the songs on this CD that were done by the "original" Drifters--THEN SAVE YOUR MONEY--'cause this ain't them. This is no "Magic Moment". It's more like "There Goes My Money"

Miserable imitations and terrible recordings. This should be avoided at all costs.

These are NOT the original recordings. It's some garbage apparently recorded in 1987. I dunno if any of the original Drifters were involved, but if so they should be ashamed. You might as well get the local high school glee club to record these songs.

16 Greatest Hits was released on March 11, 1994. There is something fishy about 16 Greatest Hits. Most of the song sounds like remixes and only one are two of the songs sound like the original recording. It is like they got together and went back into the studio and put an upbeat rhythm to the song and ruin it. This cassette gets a D-. PU
