- Skimpy!

Why settle for such a skimpy collection when Rhino's "very Best of..." is available at the same price and has more tracks. Better still, add just a few more dollars and get one of Rhino's 2-CD Drifters anthologies (one is pre-1959, the other post-1959). There is no need to reward corporate greed by buying this CD.

- The Best Sounding Collection of The Drifters Music!!

The other reviewers on this page must have a problem with the royalties paid to The Drifters themselves. For all intents and purposes, the casual listener only cares about the music, and what you get on this compilation is the best sounding remastered versions of On Broadway, This Magic Moment, Under the Boardwalk, Save the last Dance for Me, and Up on the Roof, as of July 2010. Check out the song samples and compare.

And by the way, none of these songs have been re-recorded, like the other compilations listed for The Drifters (i.e. Rhino's Very Best Of).

- Classic soul music

One of a kind melodic soul music group with memorable tunes like"Under the Boardwalk".This is right along the great R&B songs of all time.I believe this band was an inspiration to Gladys Knight and the Pips and other music of that genre.A must for any listener of various great music.

- Nice but not available

I don't much see the point of a listing in which all the tracks are marked "not available". If anyone knows where I can get an MP3 of the original (not rerecording) of the Drifters' "Sweets for my Sweet", please let me know.
