For this awesome Scot crossover hardcore band at last. Main feature -concert footage -is barely 50'of the most explosive music of this style this band have recorded live, EVER !during which they play 19 songs, most of which belong to the last 3 albums (yes, the heavier ones ! )
Featuring both excellent 2.0 AND 5.1 audio mixes,in widescreen, the sound is thunderous and mega-dirty. Wattie is in great condition if we consider he's around 50 now. Filmed with 10 !! cameras + a crane one (some budget !! ) this gem's been entirely (and superbly) filmed and mixed at the Metalmania Festival in Poland by a polish TV crew for TV broadcasting. Editing is quick but clean and the camera is where it's supposssed to be at every opportunity; guitar fretboard for the solos, drums during the rolls, etc. I couldn't have dreamed of a better gig even if asked how I would have liked it to be.
After the gig, there's a somewhat standard interview with the whole band (as oppossed to the usual Wattie-only) and the accents are as hard to understand as always !! (subtitles please ! ). As bonus, there's a photo gallery and some screensavers to donwload to your computer. As a lifetime fan of the band this is the crowning item to my collection. The packaging is at the same level (unlike Cherry Red-poor) with a transparent keepcase and a nice glossy inner booklet.
All I can say is I wish I was there. This is a fast and furious concert by Wattie and the boys. Great selection of songs .. new and old!
