Chantal Kreviazuk shares Salvador's birth story and new photos

Canadian chanteuse Chantal Kreviazuk, 34, and hubby Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace welcomed their third son Salvador Daniel, on Saturday, June 28th. In Chantal's final exclusive-to-CBB pregnancy column, she shared her birth plan and hopes for delivery. Here, she relays to Celebrity Baby Blog the events of the birth and tells us that she did indeed stick to her original birth plan, going natural and drug-free. The LA-based singer/songwriter is also mom to Rowan Michael, 4 ½, and Lucca Jon, 3. My husband and his band had a date booked -- probably over a year ago -- for a show in Prince Edward Island, on the East Coast of Canada, for the 30th of June. When we found out that we were having a baby, and that the due date was just two weeks after this show, there was a slight wave of panic that floated over us. Cut to it being the 26th of June, and the baby has not arrived. Now I am PANICKED, and I am certain I am going to be in the delivery room alone. This feeling of panic is compounded by the fact, that I have this little "birth plan" going, and a lot of my fuel is coming from the given fact that Raine will be in the birthing room. Not good. I went in for my routine weekly visit to the OB, and told her that I had been having tons of cramping for a week, lost my -- hate this word -- mucous plug, and that it just felt like the baby was coming. But there was no baby!! I told my doctor (this is Thursday, people) that I was very stressed about my husband not being with me for the birth, and how he was scheduled to be gone on Saturday for two nights. I was now 2 centimeters dilated, and the doctor did feel that we were getting close. So she stripped my membrane. I was not prepared for this. Jo O'Meara announces that she's expecting a son, talks pregnancy in Hello

Ex S Club 7 singer Jo O'Meara, who is expecting her first child in May, sat down with Hello! magazine for an interview and photoshoot this week. The 28-year-old Brit revealed that she's expecting a son and has split with the baby's father, and discusses her controversial Celebrity Big Brother role and subsequent breakdown. Jo, who is perhaps better known at this point for her part in the racially-motivated bullying of actress Shilpa Shetty on the UK's Celebrity Big Brother, maintains that she is not a racist and that her portrayal on the show was the result of selective editing. The change in public opinion of her, after having been in the extremely successful band S Club 7, was too much for Jo to take -- she ended up overdosing on pills and alcohol, but luckily was discovered by a friend in time. I didn't leave my house for a long time, I was too scared. [My] recovery has been a slow process. I don't really know how to explain a breakdown unless you've actually been through one. It was kind of a case of one step forward, two steps back. From October to Christmas, I started feeling a lot more positive about stuff. Then when the New Year came, I thought: 'You know what, I'm not going to go in to 2008 like this.' Everything I've been through in the past year has made me realize that I'm strong. Adding to her strength was the realization that a new life was forming and responsibility was a requirement. Jo took the news of the pregnancy in stride, committed to change. The pregnancy was a surprise, but I was really pleased about it straight away. I did five tests to make sure. I feel really content. Expecting this little one has given me a new lease of life. It's kind of completed me in a way. I feel like everything is a new start for me. I've got a new baby coming, I've got a new home. Update: Shane Filan and wife Gillian expecting second child

Update: Shane has posted the following message to his fans on Westlife's Official Page,Hi everyone, You've probably all heard the news by now, but I wanted to let you know personally that Gillian and I are having another baby! I can't even begin to describe how amazing we're both feeling right now -- as you can imagine, we're completely over the moon and Nicole is very excited at the thought of having a little brother or sister to play with. The baby is due in September, so quite a while to go yet, although I'm sure it'll fly by really quickly. Gillian's bump is growing by the day and she's extremely happy and healthy.  I look forward to introducing the new member of the Filan clan to you later in the year! The new baby will join big sister Nicole, 2 ½. A thrilled Shane, 28, tells the Daily Mirror,I can't believe I'm going to become a pop papa for the second time. We're going to be off from the band for a year from the summer so it seems like the perfect time to add to our family. I'm absolutely over the moon and it's going to be incredible to have two children. We didn't want to leave it too long to give Nicole a little brother or sister so it's perfect timing. Gillian is an amazing woman and I feel so proud to be having another child with her. It's going to be hectic in the Filan household with two little ones running around but we really can't wait. With the band taking a year off it is going to give me the chance to get really stuck in and be a great dad. I'll be able to give Gillian all the help she needs. Kevin Bacon says he's proud to be a father and a 'househusband'

We recently reported on how actress Kyra Sedgwick finds balance with her family and her career.  Her husband and fellow actor Kevin Bacon, 48, shares his perspective on their busy life -- and talks about how they keep it all together. With his acting and music careers, he jokes that he doesn't have time for vacations and is proud to be a 'househusband.' I've never played golf in my life. I just wear an apron, scrub the toilets. With Kyra's recent success as the star of the TNT drama The Closer, she lives in Los Angeles while the show is in production, and Kevin lives in New York City with their kids, Travis, 18, and Sosie, 15.  Kevin says that he has been more than happy to take care of them: In the first year, I stayed home more so the kids would have someone there. It actually affected her more than me. She was feeling so concerned about leaving them. I think it would have been really difficult for her if I hadn't stayed. Knowing I was home, she could really throw herself into the show. Kevin and Kyra's son Travis is a rising star in his own right; his punk-rock band toured 30 cities this summer.   Kevin says that Travis is "smart, he's compassionate and he's well-adjusted. And he's going off to college." As for Sosie, while she may be interested in becoming an actor like her parents, Kevin says it's still up in the air. She enjoys acting, but we don't encourage any kind of professional life until 18. I don't want to push her into being a child actor.
