Madonna to headline massive Radio 1 gigBack in our day, Radio 1 Roadshows involved members of Bad Boys Inc telling us to throw our hands in the air and wave 'em like we just don’t care, while Mark Goodier gave out free T-shirts to the few dozen teenage girls who’d braved the wind and rain of Great Yarmouth. These days however, it’s all a bit more impressive. The really rather famous Madonna has been announced as the headliner for this year’s One Big Weekend festival in Kent! Madge will perform alongside Usher, The Kooks, Nelly, The Feeling, Adele, The Fratellis and zillions of other top acts at Mote Park, Maidstone, over the weekend of 10 and 11 May. Chris Moyles made the big announcement this morning, but more acts will be confirmed throughout today. More than 30,000 tickets will be available for the event and, to be in with a chance, you have to register via the Radio 1 website this week. Good luck!
