Not the greatest Kinks Album to date, but it's close. If you like their post-pop music, this'll be for you. This album has some of their most popular tracks such as the fantastic 'Sunny Afternoon', 'Dandy', and 'Most Exclusive Residence For Sale', all of which will probably be familiar to you on the first listen to the album. But there are some lesser known gems on the album sauch as 'Rosie Won't You Please Come Home', which is arguably one of their best songs on the album.
The production of the Album is typically 'Kinks' - so don't expect anything too groundbreaking (for its time), but I would feel that this just adds to the nostalgia of this late '60s album.
I would recommend this album wholeheartedly to any Kinks fan, or definately as a start to anybody's Kinks collection
