Ya know how every once and a while some crazy news about Kate Moss and her musician boyfriend Pete Doherty crosses the Atlantic Ocean and finds its way over here to the United States? Well, I had never heard of him, so I decided to take a look into some of his music to see what everyone was talking about. Nearly every article I read mentioned Pete as being most critically acclaimed for his work with the band The Libertines, but who really cares about music critics opinions? I also looked into his work with Babyshambles, and found it to be equally good, if not a bit darker, possibly due to the hard living he's been doing lately. Reading through fan message boards online, I got the impression that there are a great many faithful fans wishing and hoping the best for Pete, after listening to alot of Libertines and Babyshambles music for the past few days, I can see why. Give the song a listen, Time for Heroes, from the CD called Up the Bracket, by The Libertines, featuring a younger Pete Doherty, possibly before the substances had such a tight grip on him, if you like what you hear, run out and buy the CD. I'll have to join in with those wishing him the best, and all the luck in the world for getting clean and sober again, it'd be a shame to lose another talent to drugs.
