- A must for hardcore, die hard Fiends!

Having only witnessed the new school Misfits twice (both times excellent) I was interested in hearing some old school Misfits live with Glenn. Well, they were intense, as is this CD. The sound quality is not as bad as people say, just "turn it up...you want us to turn it up!" Any hardcore fiend will enjoy this CD greatly, since it gives newer Fiends a glimpse into the Misfits of old. BUY THIS!

- it's good

The poor sound quality compliments the songs, and it's nice listening to the buzz of things on this album. Devil's Whorehouse is my favorite track and this album is pretty much Walk Among Us gone live, and the rendition of We Are 138 with Henry Rollins sounds noticably different than the original version, it's faster. Cheers.

- EVILIVE COULD BE ONE OF THE BEST LIVE CDs EVER

Nothing can really capture the pure power of a Misfits show, but this made a really good attempt to. They really did put a lot of really good songs on here, such as "Night Of The Living Dead", "Astro Zombies", "Horror Business", "Hatebreaders", and "We Are 138" (I really would have liked to have heard "Last Caress" and "Die, Die My Darling on here though). There is only one really noticible flaw on here; it sounds like a bootleg. Literally, like someone had a low quality soundboard under the stage. Even though the sound quality is really weak on a couple of the songs, you get used to it and barely notice it. If you have never seen the Misfits in concert, YOU MUST! It is one of the best shows that can be seen.

- For a live CD.

This CD if you listen to it you can tell it was made years ago. The cd evilive (evil-live) is a live cd. They are awsome songs like "138" and "2o eyes". It feature Black Flag Singer for "138" (the last song). Plus sometime between songs they talk for like 3 sec. hahah. They say we got to toon these instruments and this next song is then (the songs name). And of course before every song the one little thing that the Misfits are most famous for doin is say 1, 2, 3, before each song.

- Misfits: Evilive

The Misfits have put on legenday punkrock monster shows (I attended 5) and even though this is still very raw and brutal, it only captures half the energy they put out on stage. Sure, the production quality isn't good (the vocals fade in and out, it is mixed very low and there is a slight buzz) - but it is an awesome record. The very best live album ever. Very fast, brutal and most excellent. Also very good song selections by the band - and it is helarious too hear them yelling at the crowd inbetween songs (ex: [Glenn to crown]: F*** you, this is f***** Hatebreeders!) - overall - this is a very very good Misfits record. Go get it or be killed!
