- Hands down, this band's best release.
How can three songs give such an encompassing overview of any band's sound? This disc is an essential for any new fan, and it easily blows out anything the Promise Ring has done before or since: "Tell Everyone We're Dead" has the kind of moody, dark-edged, driven pop of their first few singles and "30 Degrees...," while the second track is sugary goodness a la "Nothing Feels Good" (with the addition of a snappy drum-machine rhythm track). However, it's "American Girl" that I think is the most intriguing track on this single - I think it's this disc's stand-out: lush and spacious, but structurally simple. In the face of the bottom-heavy rock festival of their new album, "Boys and Girls" gives a concise lesson in the finer mechanics of these underground emo/pop craftsmen. Buy!

- AMAZING!!
"Best Looking Boys" is perhaps one of their most genius songs. Once again the Promise Ring have proven themselves to be the Kings of emo/pop! The 3 tracks on this CD are extremely fun. These are 3 songs that I play over and over again and never grow tired of.
