- may as well be a greatest hits CD
Other bands would kill for having a greatest hits collection this good. This is just one album (albeit probably the best) from a diehard act that's still going strong after gobs of albums (and infinite band replacements to back up Joe Queer). Go to a Queers show and you'll hear just about every one of these songs, including the classic "Granola Head."
So just what are the Queers? Think of the Ramones: take a singer with a somewhat nasal voice, songs with simple but powerful hook-based choruses that you can't forget ("f the world I'm hanging out with you tonight!"), and fast 3-chord guitar downstrums.
Buy this and Don't Back Down for the best introduction to the Queers. Give 'em each 3 listens and you'll either still hate 'em or you'll be hooked. I'm hooked, and have picked up everything else since then.

- Snotty Punk Rock
This is an awesome album for fans of snotty punk rock. The music is fast and melodic, with great, silly in your face lyrics. For fans of Beat Off this is a must-buy album, while it doesn't have the surfy songs of Beat-Off, the rest of the album is very similar to the punky songs of Beat Off. I recommend this album for fans of Ramones influenced, snotty, silly punk.

- A Classic Pop Punk Release
Love Songs is a classic pop punk release. The Queers and Screeching Weasel were the definition of pop punk in the early to mid 1990s and this disk finds Joe and the rest of the band creating melodic hits. A lot of Ramones with a little Beach Boys mixed in and the songs on this disk are irresistible. If you buy one Queers disk, this is the one you need.
- The first and best of the Queers.
I bought this album a long time ago, and I still listen to it often. It's swingin punk as good as it can be. They have good melodies, good lead voice and good choire.
The Beach Boys meets the Ramones. This is party music!
My best recommandations for everybody who likes surf punk!!
