"Blunderbuss" will be released on April 24 and is the former White Stripes frontman's first record since he announced the breakup of that pioneering rock duo last year. White also is a member of The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.

Following the White Stripes, the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather, for his next project, Jack White is going to focus on himself.

Dirk Powell's last solo album was 2004's Time Again on Rounder Records. He's currently at work on its follow, having recorded it with The Raconteurs' drummer Patrick Keeler. It'll be released on Sugar Hill later this year.
