- GREAT SONG + HOME DEMO

I really like The Strokes' choice in B-Sides. Most of their singles, especially the UK releases, contain either home-demos or tracks recorded live. If I am going to spend money on a CD single (which is about 1/3 the cost of the actual full album) it better have something different that I have not heard!

12:51 is the album cut. If you are a die-hard and want to hear The Strokes raw and naked, then the "home demo" will make you a happy critter indeed!

- You NEED this B-side

I know, you think that I am nuts for giving a single a "5-star" rating. However, the B-side is an outstanding duet with Regina Spektor. 12:51 may be the best attempt for radio-play off this LP, but it's the B-side that makes this a great supplement to Room On Fire.

So, when compared to other Strokes singles, all of which simply tacked live tracks or home demos, this one is superior: two excellent songs, one of which SHOULD have been on the record!

- such talent!

This is a great album! This band really has talent, because they have been recording this stuff since before they where even born! Amazing! Every song is just wonderful and hopefully they will finally be nominated for a couple grammys, they deserve one- they've been working hard since they where babies back in 1968.

- Finally!!

Finally The strokes have come out with the essential package we've all been waiting for. There debut from 1968 and all 13 albums since then have been ignored when it comes to a greatest hits package. The hits are all on this one. I'm sure it'll be number one on billboard cuz its so good.
