- Punk Rock Christmas Cheer

This CD is extremely amuzing. With songs like "Grandpa's last Christmas" and "My First Christmas as a Woman" who can go wrong?!? The songs are not only funny, but very cool too. My favorites are "Oi to the World" (No Doubt sings it too) and "Here I am Lord" (which has the coolest bass line I have ever heard). This is a definate must-have. So get it!!! It is very hard to find!!!!!

- BEST VANDALS ALBUM

What a great album for the holidays. I always wondered what it would be like to have mt first christmas as a woman. This Vandals album, their first released on their own label(kung Fu records), is probably the best album of theirs(tied with sweatin to the oldies). If you don't have any other vandal albums get this one. it is funny, christmasy, and very catchy. Can't go wrong with this album, and remeber. . . Oi to the punks, and Oi to the skins, and oi to the world and everybody in it

- Great Punk Rock

This album is a great punk album, plain and simple. It's a classic for a reason. Check out "Oi To The World" and "My First Christmas As A Woman" especially.

- Mixed Bag of Goodies

Though several of the songs bend good taste to the breaking point, there are many that are good for a laugh and several that point to the sad and tragic realities of Christmas.

- A Christmas....I mean...Punk Rock Classic

What can I say? This album has been floating around for years and still never ceases to amaze me. This is a classic album for any fan of Punk Rock or Music in general. The songs are classic Vandals...Biting, sarcasm, ironic, and catchy. For those who say punk rock is a bunch of noise, I say listen to this album to hear that punk rockers know how to play their instruments and can actually create a cohesive vision. I listened to this album every year until it was stolen. I finally re-purchased it and it will again continue to be a yearly tradition at my household.

As for the music....Gun for Christmas...even more appropriate today than when it was originally written. With our media focus on scaring the living death out of us each day, this song really hits home. Grandpa's last Christmas...Who can't relate to this one. For those who are often disapointed we have Thanks for Nothing. Thats right, a bitter song about giving plenty and getting nothing in return. The classic Oi to the World covered by many great bands. This song has become a punk rock anthem. I won't delve into the rest but the album does set the tone for a great Christmas and reminds us that the holidays aren't about getting and giving gifts. Its about more than that. What is is? I haven't figured it out yet. -Chris Diablo, 2011
