In the tradition of mid-level Canuck bands who tour in the dead of winter to avoid competition at the turnstiles, Delta, B.C.’s Theory Of A Deadman has found a niche – and a way to beat it death.

Theory of a Deadman will be hitting the road in April for a North American headlining tour

Mainstream hard rockers Theory of a Deadman will perform 8 p.m. April 20 at Crocodile Rock in Allentown with supporting acts Pop Evil and Stellar Revival.

“I hope that the warm weather stays,” laughs Theory of a Deadman’s Dave Brenner, half-jokingly referring to Regina’s present warm weather after one of its famous hellacious cold streaks. “We’re just not acclimated to that type of cold yet.”

Theory of a Deadman's days may be numbered. The band, originally from North Delta, couldn't sell out their "hometown" concert at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre, despite a well-publicized Groupon half-price ticket offer.
