Toots and The Maytals Album: “Live [Video/DVD]”

Way too much yapping on this dvd for me (especially the promoters, fumbling with their notes onstage while yelling the most inane things). Too much gap between songs, and the quality is so-so. His one song on Reggae on the River (dvd) is better than any of the tunes on this one, unfortunately. I wouldn't recommend it, but I still watch it from time to time.

Pretty Solid DVD, 10 Songs total. However, I was disappointed that a few of my favorite songs weren't in it. Pressure Drop, Broadway Jungle, Reggae got Soul, Bam Bam aren't in here. Kind of a bummer, but this looks like the only DVD that Toots has out there. So you know what they say...Beggars can't be choosers.

i bought this dvd yesterday and it is amazing,toots voice is still as strong(...). i love toots & maytals music because he takes reggae and mixes it up with soul, hes a reggae version of otis redding please buy this you wont be disapointeed.

This DVD is sick. I was soo happy to buy this off Amazon. I was not happy that I bought it (used) and it took over three weeks to get here, but what can you do? Anyway, my favorite live song, "pomps and pride," is on this and I am in love with seeing Toots & the Maytals live. Definitely pick up this DVD if you are into Toots at all!
