Toots and The Maytals Album: “Live [Mango]”

If you like roots reggae... and you like upbeat music. This album will blow you away. pressure drop, 54-46, get up stand up (not the song you already know.... tosh/marley), and time tough.... all great songs.

If you ever have a chance to see toots in concert.... GO! before this last piece of late 60's early 70's Jamaican ska / reggae innovation is gone!

If you like these songs and would like to hear more, I highly recommend the two disc anthology available on the island/jamaica label.

I saw Toots and the Maytals in concert in 1981,and they blew me away.I caught Toots again at a small club in Pittsburgh,Pa.last night,and got blown away at close range! This CD will provide you with a good sampling of Toot's special brand of soulful,uplifting,rocksteady reggae/ska. If you love good music and great live shows,I urge you to see Toots Hibbert and his superb band.In the meantime,buy this CD and play it loud!
