At 24 tracks this 2003 two-CD set is perhaps a bit skimpy -- there's surely enough room to add a few tracks to each disc -- but that's not the only problem with {^Africa}. Of these 24 tracks, there are only a handful of big hits -- the ubiquitous {&"Rosanna"} and {&"Africa"} plus {&"Georgy Porgy,"} and that's it -- leaving many hits, like {&"Hold the Line"} and {&"99,"} behind. In their place are a bunch of album tracks of varying quality, some very good, some just OK. This doesn't make for a bad listen, but for the listeners who are in the market for a budget-line collection like this, the lack of true hits will no doubt be a disappointment. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
