- Good tracks overshadowed by a few campy ones!

This album was the follow up to the smash "Stay Hungry" and unfortunately the campy songs like "Leader of the Pack" and "Be Cruel to your School" overshadowed some of the really good ones like "Kill or Be Killed", "I Believe in You", and "King of the Fools". This album was a commercial bomb at the time it was released and was the death knell for Twisted Sister which was a shame.

All in all, I'd say that I enjoyed this album, but not as much as the other Twisted Sister releases and I'm glad to be able to buy it in CD.

If you are sick of the 90's death growl and (c)rap metal that just won't go away and want to hear some solid metal with real singing, check out this album, just skip over the cover tunes!

- Come out and play

This is one of the best albums i have ever heard. The video clips that go with it are brilliant, and to me, show Twisted Sister are one of the best bands ever created.

- The Fire Still Burns

At first this album was "O.K" but now I love it with every other TS album. All of their albums and song rule.

Come Out and Play 10/10

Awsome opener and one of TS's fastest and heaviest songs ever

Leader of the Pack 10/10

Bad song made very, very, very good with a very funny video

You Want What We Got 10/10

Good song

I Believe In Rock N Roll 9/10

Looses 1 for the verses they could uses a little work but still a good song

The Fire Still Burns 10/10

Never appriceated this till I saw it live at Jim Thorpe in 04

(one awsome night, I met Dee too!)

Be Chrool To Your Scuel 10/10

Of course I love this song, I'm in the 9th grade and think scuel is more boring than Styx! (that's a bad thing)

I Believe In You 10/10

One of those song that remind me of myself

Out On The Streets 10/10

Good Song

Lookin' Out For #1 10/10

Another good song

Kill or Be Killed 10/10

One of TS's fastest songs

King of the Fools 9/10

Not Bad

- An Underlooked Album

Come Out And Play was the follow up to the Multi-Platinum Smash Stay Hungry from Twisted Sister.Unfortunately, the follow up didnt live up to expectations.Personally i love the Album and i feel it is a batch of really good songs. Most people were turned off by the Lead Single "Leader Of The Pack" which was a remake of the 60's hit song by an all girl group. But if they had listened to the Entire Album with smashing tracks like "Come out and Play" and "You Want What We Got" they would realize this is one that delivers the goods."The Fire Still Burns" is still a Really Heavy Track and a Fan Favorite played at most of their gigs.If you like TS and Dee Snider give it a shot its worth it.

- Give it a chance..........

I always seem to be on the fence about this album. I either just enjoy this album or I think it is a really great album. So my rating changes, but I'll make one considering TS' past work. I thought the production quality was great. I think songs like 'Come Out And Play'(great starter song with a fast tempo and awesome guitar work), 'I Believe In Rock 'N' Roll', 'The Fire Still Burns', 'Lookin' Out For #1', and 'Kill Or Be Killed' are the high points. 'Out On the Streets' is also one that should not be overlooked. I like 'Be Chrool To Your Scuel' and I'll play it loud with the rest of them, but it sounds out of place on this album. It didn't help that the video was banned by mTV- by the way, have you seen some of the videos they will air nowadays... And "Be Chrool.." was too graphic for TV????? I know they were going with a "from the streets biker gang" theme for this album, but 'Leader Of The Pack', even though it goes along with the biker gang theme, was a poor choice as a lead single for a highly anticipated album that followed the success of songs like 'I Wanna Rock'. And like "Be Chrool...", it seems out of place when heard with the entire album. 'You Want What We Got' and 'I Believe In You'(a ballad) are okay songs. The bonus song, which was also available on the cassette tape and CD from back in the day, is a descent slow song called 'King Of The Fools'. I do not think any of the songs on here are bad, but I can also understand if people are disappointed with it compared to past albums. I know this is hind sight, but if they would have marketed different songs as singles Twisted Sister's history may have been different.
