U2 Album: “New Years Dub [Japan]”

This is a great cd wonderful dance sound with a old u2 sound on it. it's not often you see u2 let their work be put into a very dancy club mix but it was done with good taste. must have for a u2 fan and a dance music fan.

Yes--that opening guitar (is that guitar? what other instrument could it be? PLEASE email me if you know for sure!)melody is the centerpiece of the mix, as it was of the original song, in my view. With that said, im a huge fan of this mix, because i love the tempo, sound, and composition of that guitar solo!

The rest of the remixes are all wonderful, and some add in more party-flavored soundbites, which don't really gel with the song, but definitely with the vibe of the song.

The one disappointment is that the mixes doesn't contain any samples or enhancements of Bono's wonderful, emotional vocals.

Now this US edition of the single seems to contain less remix tracks than the UK edition...and you definitely wanna hear all mixes possible of this memorable, sentimental, MOVING song.

Fellow u2 fans, this is terrible,as if Satan himself mixed it really bad on purpose.remember the "Numb Soul Assassins mix"? this as bad just with New Years Day.-_- DONT BOTHER PLEASE! LISTEN AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

first off, iwas anticipatin an phat beat, instead it gives me stuffish that ive heard before. its terrible.
