It's been 17 years since their first album, and 19 months since their last album and 15 months since Pimp C died, and the 6th and last UGK installment is yet another very good, 4.5 star album from one of, if not the best, group to come out of the south. I have all 6 UGK albums, their featuring album, and all the solo's the 2 put out, and never have they released something under 4 stars, with most being 4.5 or 5 star albums. This one has 14 songs, each member has a solo, and you get 3 near classics, 3 ok songs, the other 8 are good or real good songs. Guests aren't too heavy, rapping on 4 songs and doing hooks on 4 others. Production is very good as well. Pimp C, Steve Below, and Cory mo all do 3 songs, Mike Dean, Mannie Fresh, DJ B-Do, Akon, Averexx all do 1 song. A must have album from one of the all time greatest rap groups.

Where do I start? This album is definitive UGK music right here. Pimp C on the intro brought a chill over me when he said 2009. They never miss a beat (literally). I really appreciate Cory Mo and Steve Below on the beats. They really fit into this album sound-wise and I'm sure Pimp is looking down smiling on them for what they did. I love the organs, guitars, BASS, and other live instruments that was brought to this. I needed this album like the last one. It was right on time for me. I'm going to try to not listen to it for 2-3 days so it can still be new to me.
A very good UGK album. I've already listen to it twice and I purchased it a few hours ago. Some of my instant favorites are "Da Game Been Good to Me", "She Luv It" and "The Pimp and the Bun" just to name a few.
been from houston i was born to love UGK...cuz it will always be UGK 4 life... and this album is goin to be a classic just like the others... i loved every song on the album... i can truly listen to the whole album and not touch one button.. ok maybe the volume button.... this is very hard not to change the song with most of these rappers out here... but another group that is comin back it the yingyangtwins with there new single MAD listen at myspace.com/yingyangtwins
I've been a UGK fan since middle school and unlike most of my favorite artist from the 90's they stood the test of time. This album is worth buying, Bun's Lyrical Delivery and Pimp C's twang, masterpiece. Im from St. Louis, Bootleg capitol of the country, instead of spending $2 on a burn copy this is worth the purchase. Only song I skip is with Akon because I cant stand him but for the most part pop in and ride. RIP Mr. Butler
