This was one of the most magical concerts in Uriah Heep history, I can just sit for hours and listen to this masterpiece. Ken Hensley and John Lawton reunite with the band to perform songs like Paradise/The Spell, Sympathy, The Magician's Birthday and July Morning. The live versions of all of the songs were done wonderfully, they were much better than the originals, with the great sound. Unfortunately I bought the American version of the CD, and apparently Classic Rock Productions messed something up with the tracks, and some songs including Stealin' weren't included. Luckily I have the Magician's Birthday Party 2001 DVD, which has all of the tracks, and it's a must have for all Heep fans out there. This concert made me love the Heep even more than I have, and I have now set a goal to myself: I will go out to England and see the Heep in their annual Magician's Birthday Party concert someday. This album, and "Classic Heep- An Anthology" are must-haves for every Heepster, as well for anyone who would like to get to know the heep. All of their best songs are on these two albums and they are just amazing.
