Uriah Heep Album: “Live at Sweden Rock Festival 2009”

a great document to an awesome gig!!! I was at this show, they headlined the tailgate party/opening night on the Sweden Stage....a beautiful night it was....this is far from the entire show and contains only the highlights, they played virtually all of the Sleeper album....the band had some sound problems, which is why perhaps not all of the show is here, if I remember correctly Bernie's mic went at the beginning of the gig for a few minutes and he was a bit choked...

for most the reaction is probably "blah not another one" but as I was there this one is ultra special....so as always make up your own mind!!!

This is the perfect solution to my dilemma: how to take that Heep Live at Sweden Rock sound with me when I don't have a DVD player in my car?! Yes, this is the audio version of the Live DVD that came as the bonus DVD from their latest release "Celebration", and I loved it! These performances prove that Heep are still rocking after 4+ decades, and the live versions of their classic tunes have become some of my favorites! I highly recommend this quality recording, so you can keep that live concert feel with you wherever you go.

Nice live outing from latest incarnation of Heep. Lots of energy and excellent musicianship.
