- 40 years of HEEP
Being a Heep fan form the start I have to say this is a nice compilation of new and old songs. It pulls some of the lesser known songs out for us old fans to hear again and gives the new fans a chance to hear some of the songs that they might not hear otherwise. The Band is still touring and are planning another New CD! & they hope to tour and make it back to the states again next year. I had the chance to see them on this years and would reccomend seeing them if you have the oppertunity. Well worth IT!

- Nice Collection
If you're looking for a collection of Uriah Heep that covers their first 40 years. (We really don't know when they will play their last)It has a least one song from each of their many albums. Each CD is nice and long.

- Not just another compilation?
"Here we go, the umpteenth Uriah Heep compilation." Those were my initial thoughts. What makes this one stand out from the heaps of other compilations, one would ask himself? Well, for one the fact that founding member Mick Box had a say in the track selection. The fact that these songs are really put in a random order which works really well, and finally the fact that this compilation -more so than most, if not all of the others- really picks some gems that are too often overlooked.
I would have given it 5 stars if the booklet had contained more detailed track-by-track details re: which song came from which album and which singer is featured on what song. As a die-hard, I know all this. Casual fans would likely have a harder time pinpointing this information. Still, a very enjoyable collection of songs that shows that Heep has a very strong back catalogue with songs that still sound fresh and valid today.
Hey Mick, how about adding a few of these cuts to the live set?

- Great Heep Compilation!
If want a good feel for Heep over the years, this is the album for you. There is at least one song from each album up to the time of this release. It has a great mix of songs that flow well together. "You Are The Only One" is an awesome track that was left off "Wake The Sleeper". This 'new' track is worth the price of the album.
