Disco de W.A.S.P.: “Sting”

Although the other reviewer did a good job on his review I must disagree. I like this album because it is honest. Unlike many other Live albums where they take the best performances from 50 shows, this one was all recorded from one show. Yes there are some mistakes, but it shows an honest W.A.S.P. playing their heart out. I thought Lawless did a good job on the vocals, especially on songs such as Chainsaw Charlie (Murders in the New Morgue). Highlites include: HELLDORADO, the aforementioned CHAINSAW CHARLIE, L.O.V.E. MACHINE, WILD CHILD, AND BLIND IN TEXAS. So overall, a recommended album if you like true Live albums done from beginning to end even though they might not sound exactly as on the albums. Rock on!

This was the first live concert video I had ever bought and I was blown away. I have been a fan since 87 but never saw them live. THis kicks ass. The only thing I don't care for is the editing...the scenes change so fast sometimes it get a little irritating. But overall I think if you are a WASP fan..you have to have it!

The music is great but the recording quality sucks. Very disappointed, some bootlegs are better!

A third live W.A.S.P. legit release? Guess I've sort of lost track of all their CD's they've put out in the last several years. This twelve track audio keepsake was recorded at a show Blackie and crew played at the famed Key Club in Los Angeles in April, 2000. Sure, it's nice to hear those '80's metal classics like "Wild Child", "L.O.V.E. Machine", "Animal (F**k Like A Beast)", "I Wanna Be Somebody" and their Who cover "The Real Me" again but my question is are there {m}any W.A.S.P. fans left beside myself? Certainly hope so. Sound quality isn't perfect but acceptable. Also, more recent tunes like this live CD's opener "Helldorado" and "Chainsaw Charlie" was good to check out as well. Personally, I liked 'Double Live Assassins' a tad better {see my review}.
