Readers’ Rock List: If U See Kay Songs (Explicit Titles)Photo: Michael Ochs Archive/ Getty Last week, inspired by Britney Spears’ controversial “If U Seek Amy,” we asked our readers to tell us their favorite songs that didn’t dance around with clever wordplay and just dropped cuss words in the song title. We counted the votes, and N.W.A’s ode to the LAPD, “Fuck Tha Police,” was the shit, beating out expletive-laden tracks by Nine Inch Nails, the Replacements and Neil Young. To see the entire list of songs that wouldn’t be played on the radio, check below. 1. N.W.A - “Fuck Tha Police” 2. Nine Inch Nails - “Starfuckers, Inc.” 3. Prince - “Sexy M.F.” 4. Wu-Tang Clan - “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta Fuck Wit” 5. Liz Phair - “Fuck and Run” 6. Marilyn Manson - “This Is The New Shit” 7. Tenacious D - “Fuck Her Gently” 8. The Replacements - “Fuck School” 9. The Rolling Stones - “Bitch” 10. Warren Zevon - “My Shit’s Fucked Up” 11. Beastie Boys - “Hey Fuck You” 12. Elton John - “The Bitch is Back” 13. Nas - “Life’s A Bitch” 14. Neil Young & Crazy Horse - “Fuckin’ Up” 15. Violent Femmes - “Dance, Motherfucker, Dance”

Las Vegas Faker Than Usual on New Year’s EveIn true Las Vegas fashion, Sin City will usher in the New Year with “Tribute Palooza,” a concert featuring performances by David Bowie, the Eagles, U2, Kiss, the Rolling Stones, Queen, Aerosmith and Billy Joel… impersonators. 2U will substitute for U2, Queen Nation will copycat Freddie Mercury, Aeromyth will channel Aerosmith, the Long Run will welcome you to the Hotel California and much, much more. Unfortunately, despite the presence of not one but two KISS cover bands, neither act is the Rock Daily faves Mini-KISS. The whole fake fest party will go down at Vegas’ infamously tented Fremont Street, where two stages will be erected to give fans 14 hours of cover-song goodness. Now, if this bonanza of unoriginality sounds like the lamest way to spend your New Year’s Eve… well, you’re probably right. Thankfully, Rock Daily is your guide to having a much better December 31st than witnessing Satisfaction, a Rolling Stones Tribute. Behold, our New Year’s Eve guide, featuring the best concerts going down tonight across the country: • New Year’s Eve Rock Guide: The Night’s Biggest Shows, From My Morning Jacket to Wu-Tang Clan

News Ticker: R.Kelly, Widespread Panic, Achozen, RIAA R.Kelly, via his remix for Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body,” announced that his new album is titled 12 Play: Fourth Quarter and that it will be released “soon.” Widespread Panic have been recruited to headline Sunday night after Bonnaroo after the Allman Brothers canceled their performance. Achozen, a collaboration between System of a Down’s Shavo Odadjian and Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, will begin to digitally release songs from their new album next week. The band describes their music as “heavy hip-hop.” The RIAA spent $2.8 million lobbying in Washington D.C. last year. The group spent the majority of that figure on efforts to limit copyright violations. [Photo: Getty]

Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley Wants to Be Surrounded by Jackasses When Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley isn’t accusing Rolling Stone of trying to have him deported, he’s looking for a few good Jackasses to hang out with. The band’s latest missive to its fans asks that they pull pranks on their friends, Punk’d or Jackass-style, for a chance to lug the Canadian rockers’ gear. The instructions: “Make a video of you pulling a prank on one of your friends. Something hilarious, embarrassing and completely unexpected.” The fan with the best video wins roundtrip ticks to Vegas and a “Roadie for a Day” gig (no pain-inducing pranks, nudity or cursing will be allowed). For a slightly less physical challenge, aspiring stars can instead build their own track on Loud.com using beats crafted by RZA for a chance to open up for the Wu-Tang Clan at Hawaii’s Rock the Bells fest. Raekwon Cooks Up “Cuban Linx” Follow-Up For September 8thPhoto: Stawiarz/Getty In 1995, Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon broke out on his own, releasing what was perhaps the most influential of the Clan’s solo projects, the criminally conceptual Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Two subsequent solo offerings followed, 1999’s Immobilarity and 2003’s The Lex Diamond Story, and since 2005, fans have been awaiting the oft-delayed sequel to Rae’s stunning debut. I’ll tell the fans right now: If you’re not really looking for lyrics or strong content and music, I might not be the goon for you, but I’m going back to my essence,” Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon tells Rolling Stone of his upcoming album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II, the sequel to his 1995 rap masterpiece, which comes out August 11th. Rae says work began on the LP two years ago, when he went on the prowl for quality beats. “I was hunting for good product
