Rapper T.I., whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., 27, and former Xscape member Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, 32, welcomed son Major Harris today, Friday, May 16th, at 12:48 a.m. Sandra Rose is reporting that Major weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz while People Magazine is stating that he was 5 lbs, 15 oz. T.I. released in a statement that,God has blessed us with another miracle. Former Xscape singer Tiny drinking wine while pregnant

Media Take Out has several photos of singer Tiny, who is due with her and fiance' rapper T.I.'s baby girl in June, with a glass of wine at a party. Tiny, formerly of the R & B singing group Xscape, is not seen actually drinking the wine, but the photos imply that the drink is hers. About.com's Pregnancy/Birth Guide, Robin Elise Weiss, LCCE says that according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a pregnant woman must consider that any alcohol she drinks, her baby is also drinking, This can in turn cause developmental harm to the baby, especially early in the pregnancy when the baby's vital organs are just starting to develop. Although there are several other risks to a unborn baby whose mother drinks alcohol, like low birth rate and decreased attention span, one of the biggest concerns is Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, which is the most common cause of mental reatrdation in babies. Rapper T.I. opens up about son Major's birth

T.I. became a dad for the sixth time when son Major arrived last Friday, and in a new interview the rapper talked about how he made sure he was right by Tameka "Tiny" Cottle's side as she gave birth.[Reports] said he was 5 lbs and 15 oz. That was wrong. He was actually 7 lbs and 4 oz. I was in the O.R. Hands-on. I was trying to help. Tiny's all right. She's a soldier.T.I. admitted that he and Tiny were both nervous throughout this pregnancy, as their daughter Llayah had been born still during the former Xscape member's sixth month of pregnancy in March of last year. Still struggling to comprehend the loss, he shared that they leaned on their spiritual beliefs to get them through.It was a major concern, but I had to walk in faith. Before it happens to you as a parent, it's never anything that you'd even consider. The possibility of your baby not making it never even crosses your mind until it happens.
