GREENWOOD – Chancery Judge John Barnwell has issued a permanent injunction closing Chris Don’s, stating that the nightclub on Yazoo Avenue had applied for a privilege license under false pretense.

Ardlister Johnson Sr., 93, of Yazoo, formerly of Symond, died Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Oasis Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Yazoo. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2011, at Changing Your World Ministries in Rosedale with Pastor Henry Knox officiating.
