- F#@KING AWESOME!!
A lot of my friends who are so called Metal fans have not even heard of this band or album because they are so used to what the mainstream feeds them as "Metal". But I have not heard anything out there as brutal, powerful and goddamn intelligent as this album in the Metal mainstream for a long time.
It has reaffirmed my faith that some muso's out there still choose to have their balls securely attached.
Cheers on a great album guys!

- NY Metal Lives!!!
These guys know their stuff. Hailing from Westchester County, NY, DKL have been working hard to get where they are. Now comes their first major-label release, "The Darker Side of Nonsense". This album is full of aggression, intensity, and an overall feeling of dislike for most things in the world. DKL have produced their own sound in the new metal world that emcompasses a lot of influences from old to new heavy music. Scott Thompson's guitar hardly takes a rest before pounding you with intense riffs. Dave Kowatch's bass slinks around in the backround and ever so carefully jumps out at you to produce the king of head-banging bass-lines that mix so well with Phil's drums. And then there is Cliff. Throw a little Cliff into the picture, and you might have a tendancy to maim every living creature that you come into existence with. If you like the heavy music (and well you should), Then Dry Kill Logic will spend a lot of time in your CD player. Awsome songs include: ROT, NIGHTMARE, PAIN, NOTHING, AND ASSFAULT. And yes, the rest of the album is great too. There is even a ballad-sort of song as the last track, but I wouldn't call it a ballad exactly. Good luck

- Awesome!!
I bought this CD on the 21st, and havent put it down since. The CD is a mixture of Korn and Sepultura, with some Slipknot in it. I cant quite put an exact sound on the singer. He has screams that sound like forced growls, and its awesome. I like the guitars because they go really really well with the bass. the riffs are lots of notes in a heavy fast segment. Instead of guitar riffs like Taproot and Spineshank (although i like both). My favorite songs are Nightmare, Pain, Assfault.
