- Glorious Gladys
This album of ballads celebrates one of the finest voices in pop music to come along in decades. Her master cover of Curtis Mayfield's "The Making of You" is a classic. And she could take a chestnut like "The Way We Were" and snatch it away from Streisand to make the definitive version. Gladys Knight has long been underappreciated as a fine song stylist. Young singers just starting out would do well to listen to this CD carefully and take note of how a great artist masters her craft. This is a fine collection.
- My Package.
I chose this rating cause the package came in the time frame that was given to me. The package was brand new and for a good price. I would shop with this company again.
- Great Entertainment!
I've always enjoyed the music of Gladys Knight and The Pips...so this CD really brought back good memories during my youth. I am pleased with the CD and will purchase any others they have produced that I don't already have! This is a great buy for all who appreciate great music!

- Gladys Knight
I am a big Gladys Knight fan, but this one is mostly ballads as the title said. Additionally, the songs are not the original editions. I kept listening for the highpoints of the original songs. The one song that I bought the CD for (Midnight Train to Georgia) did have the original sound and I really enjoyed it, but didn't want to hear that many back to back ballads. When I found the one song on the CD that I was looking for, the CD title "Beautiful Ballads" didn't register until I played the CD.
- Gladys Knight...what else is there to say
A beautiful and spiritual CD. So calming and uplifting. And as always, Gladys gave it her all!
