- One of France's best rock band of the 80's

Just a quick note to say that growing up in France, I remember Indochine as being one the best rock band of the 80s. They have certainly had an impact on my musical taste later in life and still somewhat today. I recommend this album greatly.

- searching for french's bands

indochine are the best group that i have ever listened!! at last at the moment, "3 nuits par semain"!!!..,another song "Le Manoir"it s one of my favorites, the firs song is as electronic-pop songs of the earlies 80'S ,and for this reason i love this band.

- breakthrough mid 80's album

For those of you looking for the roots of this group, this is it. It is MUCH different from the recent releases (such as paradize). It is lighter, and more popish. This defined this group as the seminal french language pop band of the mid 80's. Before this, the group had done 2 albums (well, ep's).

Its young, its fresh, its simple. At the same time though, its almost 20 years old, and helped defined that a hip pop sound could be done in french (which had not been done at the time much, except by the likes of Telephone, and Etienne Daho (well, somewhat for Etienne Daho at the time ;P)

The band has evolved a ton since then, gone through many trials and tribulation

- Pure 80's Pop in French

If you're a fan of the 80's and like Pop (and have a general knowledge of French), you'll love this. Catchy tunes you'll soon be singing. Also try Partinere Particulaire and Daniel Balavoine.

- What?

This is not dark, and this is not like The Cure(fortunely)This is more like joyful, latin pop rock.Luminous, elaborated and sophisticated still simple guitar based thoughtful 80's pop songs in a way La Union or Mecano used to do though Indochine was first, and much better than any of these bands, what can you expect from a band with such song titles as Tiomkin or Punishment Park? This might not be kind with politics but it certainly pleases your ear and mind(have one?use it)
