No Angels Album: “Daylight in Your Eyes”

That's what the song truly is! :) The biggest hit to date for No Angels (duly!).

There are 3 versions on german maxi single:

- radio (which is exactly the same as LP version)

- extended (coooooool!)

- instrumental (if you want to try out your singing skills - the text is included)

No Angels have everything: good voices, look and a catchy number. If you search for a perfect song to wake up with, THIS IS IT!

After all these years I still cannot understand why this song didn't become a hit in UK and US. Shame!

No Angels are Jessica, Sandy, Vanassa, Lucy and Nadja - the five winners of the first season of POPSTARS Germany. The Single has been sold over 1,000,000 times and was awarded "Best Single National" @ the 2002 ECHO Awards. No Angels have got several awards themselves, e. g. "Best Newcomer" (ECHO 2002)", "Best Band 2001" (BRAVO, Europe's biggest youth mag) and many more.

Daylight was 'Top Of The Pops' for 6 weeks in Germany, Austria and Swiss. No Angels released two albums until now, "Elle'Ments" (2001) and "Now...Us!" in spring 2002. Both have entered the album charts @ No. 1. Three of five singles charted @ No. 1 for mimimum 4 weeks. The other two got top ten status. I can fully recommend this cd-single. A special video version of "Daylight" was produced for the U.S. - so write to MTV and wish it to get into the groove.

IF you like to listen to the same song over and over again this is the perfect CD for you. The two songs are pretty much the same and dull

A pure pop song. I wouldn't say that I like it for it's not a good thing to compilate musicians in "Popstar" competitions. It's a little bit false. There are so many groups who make their own music for long years but have never found any fame. And those girls who have no common interests except for the big bucks and a peace of the cake of fame are now top in Germany. Yes, I know that most music is made by special people who don't look good enough and (probably) don't have a good voice but the "Popstar" project is far too comercial. It's like fast food- absolutely without any privacy in it. And the song "Daylight in your eyes" - it's rather primitive and doesn't make any sense. I didn't like this song for I think that art must be real and not made by a group of producers.
