Yes. Harness your hopes is the "no tan lines" for this album's single collection. Yes. All the songs are good even if you already own the first one from the album. Yes.
"leisure...a leisure suit is nothin', it's nothin to be proud of
in this late century." I actually saw a man walking yesterday
decked in a blue leisure suit. It was not cool. "Harness Your Hopes" =
rad! Oh...and this line: "many of the men who get lost around
the bend; solitary rejects with the need to spawn..." is pretty
dang funny and rings true, sadly. That one's from "Roll With The
Wind." Now of course, I like listening to the full-length more often,
but ANY p a v e m e n t (CD) is good pavement, and worth walkin' on. This EP is
not just for completists...it's just an added bonus to their huge list
of amazingly fabulous poetry. I just love these guys. They're smart and their
music's life reassuring.
The first two songs after Spit On a Stranger are excellent, while the last two are good. Worth buying.
