Scars on Broadway Album: “Scars on Broadway [Clean]”

Some of the music was good, but honestly, the singing was just not good; and most of the songs lack the addictive quality of most SOAD work. No, I don't mean the F-bomb; specifically, the pitch changes were whiny, the notes were sometimes sharp, and the production was very amateurish. I gave it two stars instead of one because there are a couple of songs I kept on my I-pod which are at least somewhat listenable.

This album is every bit as good as the albums of System of a Down. Now I can see where SOAD's best songs came from. It's the best music I've heard in a long time, at least since SOAD broke up!

TO PUT IT STRAIGHT-IT SUCKS.THE SONGS ARE ABOUT AS SIMPLE AS A THREE YEAR OLDS BARNEY CD BUT WITH LESS TALENTED WRITING.DARON'S VOCALS ARE NASALLY ANNOYING AND THE LYRICS GRADE SCHOOL REPETITIOUS. I AM ORDINARILY A RATHER DIVERSE LISTENER, BUT THIS CD HOLDS NOTHING FOR ME TO ENJOY.ALSO, I AM A HUGE SOAD FAN SO I HAD TO GET THIS CD WHEN I HEARD OF IT. WHAT A MISTAKE. IM SURE SERJ IS SECRETLY SMILING DUE TO HIS SOLO CD'S POLAR OPPOSITE QUALITY. I HOPE I SAVED ONE PERSON TEN BUCKS WITH THIS REVIEW.
