- Sillver Moon shines!
"Nichts Passiert" is the 3rd album from the German super group, Silbermond. The CD/Album has several strong singles: #4)"Irgenwas Bleibt," #7 "Nicht Mein Problem," and #14 "Sehn Wir Uns Weder." The production is smooth and sophisticated, and the band branches-out with some new sounds from "Chicago" style brass rifts in "Nicht Mein Problem" to some "Curse" style pseudo-rap in "Sehn Wir Uns Wieder." Silbermond however does not abandon its rock breeding and one can easily feel the strong back beat and head bopping rhythm of the groups roots. A good CD for a wind in your hair ride to the beach or a cool party in an urban flat.
- Great CD from a great band!
Even if you don't understand German, if you like Paramore or Flyleaf, you'll love Silbermond. If you do understand German, then you'll appreciate the intelligent and well-written lyrics that accompany the energetic and often driving music this band offers up. I have been a fan of Silbermond since their debut CD, and I think this one may very well be their best to date.
- Silbermond has done it again! Beautiful collection!
I have been a Silbermond fan ever since they appeared on the German rock scene in 2004. I have all three of their albums. If you like German rock, especially the "calmer" variety, then you'll love "Nichts Passiert". I highly recommend it! The album went platinum in both Germany and Austria and gold in Switzerland. Of course, your appreciation of Silbermond will be significantly enhanced by a reasonable fluency in German, but even listeners with little or no German language background will likely enjoy this album. I highly recommend it. Bravo, Silbermond!
- Nicht Passiert
3/5. The third studio album from the German band Silbermond, Nicht Passiert is a solid piece of urban rock, although there is nothing unique or new about the sound. The tone of the album is determined by the title track Nicht Passiert, riff-based Tanz Aus der Reihe and socio-politically Nicht Mein Problem, and it is not necessarily to the benefit of the band. Although catchy and radio friendly, the loud and guitar-heavy tracks are all cut in the same Juli-oriented style. The true gems and emotional highlights of the album are underlooked and more melodic songs Ich Bereue Nichts, Nichts Mehr, Weg fur Immer and Sehn Wir Uns Wieder, which offer a hypnotic rhythm matching perfectly to darker undertones of Stefanie Kloß' vocals. While staying away from chart positions, these quieter songs add a certain alternative air and sound mature and very promising of the band. -Sain Alizada

- Excellent album
"Nichts Passiert" ("Nothing Happens") is an excellent third album from German band Silbermond.
Every bit as good as their first album 'Verschwende deine zeit', which translates to English as 'Waste your time", and better than their second outing "Laut Gedacht" ("Thinking aloud").
In my opinion, one of the best bands around. Not just from Germany, but from anywhere.
If you're a fan of bubble-gum pop crap like Lady Gaga, Britney Spears or any of that other light weight junk being churned out, then Silbermond is not for you.
But if you have a taste for music with a bit of substance and a lot of talent, then I suggest that you give this group a try.
I hope they keep making music for a long time.
