- Must Have
This is a rare and unique album of the Queers covering one of
the greatest Ramones records in it's entirety "Rocket to Russia." Generally excepted as the second greatest Ramones record, the Queers offer up a great rendition of this classic album which is the third installment of the series. Screeching Weasel did the Ramones first record, The Vindictives covered "Leave Home," now listen to the Queers take the Rocket to Russia. A must have for any pop punk fan.

- The Queers covering The Ramones, there's a shocker
This is The Queers covering The Ramones entire Rocket To Russia album. Same track order, same songs, just by The Queers and not The Ramones. Might sound like a good idea to some, but why you just wouldn't listen to the originals is beyond me. Of course The Queers have a certain indebtedness to "Da Bruddas," so covering them isn't a surprise. And they weren't the only band to do it. Screeching Weasel covered The Ramones, The Vindictives did Leave Home, and... well there were others too, but you get the idea. Like the Queers? Wanna hear em sing the best Ramones album, in its entirety? Go for it! |
