- Great Lizzy video
I saw Thin Lizzy for the Chinatown tour in Europe in the early eighties. I didn't even know these videos existed. This dvd is worth every penny. I might even buy another for a friend, since its at such a good price. Still waiting for that rock masters dvd though. I'm not really interested in those rockumentary dvds just wanna see some rockin

- Great DVD
I love this DVD. I only have two minor gripes. They should have included the video for Phil Lynott's Old Town. I know it's not exactly Thin Lizzy, but it would have been a nice bonus. The second, they could have labeled it better. The tracks say live (most of them aren't) but give us the date. You did it for Whiskey In The Jar, why couldn't you label the rest? Well anyways, it features music videos along with promos, which are all mimed. Come on people you should have known that back then everyone mimed, and even today they still do! The sound quality is good, but the video quality varies at times, in particular The Boys Are Back In Town, but hey, it's from the 70's, what were you expecting? Overall it's a great buy, especially for Thin Lizzy fans. I had the privilege of purchasing an import with the red Thin Lizzy logo. I feel special. :)

- DISAPPOINTING !
The boys are back in town in their latest greatest hits DVD or are they? This DVD contains a mix of "Thin Lizzy" music video's and live performances with varying levels of quality. The Dolby Digital 5.1 audio is pretty strong and it seems the studio made an effort to clean it up, but the video portion is no better than a bootleg video at best. Most of the live segments are barely watchable and I was very disappointed at the lack of video quality from Mercury / Universal Studios for this release. I've always been a fan of "Thin Lizzy and still haven't found a great concert DVD of them. If this is supposed to be a greatest hits DVD, why wasn't Jailbreak included?
DVD Song Tracks:
1. The Boys Are Back in Town
2. Don't Believe a Word (Live)
3. Dancing in the Moonlight (Live)
4. Rosalie (Live)
5. Waiting for an Alibi
6. Do Anything You Want To
7. Sarah
8. Chinatown
9. Killer on the Loose
10. Thunder and Lightning (Live)
11. Bad Reputation (Live)
12. King's Call
13. The Rocker
14. With Love
15. Dear Miss Lonely Hearts
16. That Woman (Live)
17. Johnny the Fox
18. Wild One
19. Whiskey in the Jar
- DVD not an audio CD
Because it is listed as an audio CD and the photo is shaped like a CD that is what I thought I was purchasing, but it is actually a DVD. If you research the product, on the third page the songs on the "DVD" are listed. This should be listed as a DVD and the photo should be shaped like a DVD. If you want a DVD with live performances, it is great.

- Awesome!!!
Awesome!!! If you've been looking for "Dedication: The Very Best of Thin Lizzy", well, look no further, this is most of it, if not all of it. There are 19 tracks on this DVD, and the ones that were on the VHS Dedication (most of them) are on here, the exact same footage! Okay, the footage on Dedication was a little "grainy" at times, and on here it is too, but considering the age of the material, it has been cleaned up a tiny bit, and really can't be avoided (since film ages over time), however the music is as inspiring as it originally was and the sound is decent enough (5.1 Dolby Digital) although it sounds much more like Dolby Pro logic II, but what the heck, it's all about the music of Thin Lizzy, right? which remains stellar to this day! There are additional tracks here not on Dedication, but there are tracks left off hopefully for a Greatest hits II compilation! And being on DVD, it won't deteriorate as my old VHS tape has a little over time, and no rewinding. Buy it! Worth every penny...
