UFO Album: “Best of UFO: Gold Collection”

As I listened to this 16 track compilation,I noticed at just how many of these tunes I didn't know by name,but I recognized them by their riffs.'Best Of UFO...' gathers some of the British metal band's better known material from(I'm guessing)1974-83.Cuts I was digging the most were "Doctor Doctor","Only You Can Rock Me"(so THEY'RE the ones who originally did this song)"Shoot Shoot","Rock Bottom","Hot 'N Ready" and "Young Blood".Worthy of many repeated plays and a true keeper.Recommended.

The song selection here is okay, but it would be a wiser idea to purchase "Essential UFO" (and Essential MSG for that matter)

as those are the most complete "Best Of" packages available for those two great bands. Avoid all the other slapped together discs that are merely trying to sucker you in.

Don't waste your money. If this is the Best Of UFO, then I'm thankful I don't have anything else of theirs! This will be lucky to get another playing. Woefully ordinary!

There's nothing included here that I would quibble about. What detracts from this "best of" package are the songs that aren't here. No "Too Hot to Handle"? No "Lights Out"? It's like a Seeds collection without "Pushin' Too Hard."
