<p>This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.
<p>To coincide with Bruce Dickinson's final tour with Iron Maiden, the band issued A REAL DEAD ONE, a follow-up to its classic 1985 live album, LIVE AFTER DEATH. Comprised entirely of material from 1986's SOMEWHERE IN TIME and releases thereafter, the live set contains renditions of many of Maiden's U.K. hit singles from the era. While some tracks are noticeably absent ("Infinite Dreams," "Wasted Years," etc.), many of Maiden's best tracks are included, such as "Be Quick or Be Dead," "Can I Play With Madness," "The Evil That Men Do," "Heaven Can Wait," and "The Clairvoyant." Although the band doesn't sound as inspired as it does on its earlier, classic live collection, several tracks here are played with a passion not found in the studio versions.

- pretty decent
i thought this cd was pretty darn good,the sound quality was decent,a little raw at times but that added to the live sound, i really enjoy the songs that were selected for this cd they are pre 1985, a nice companion for the live cd "a real live one" which is also really good - Great Live CD
This was my first Maiden CD. It seems to me the reviewers talking about the drama surrounding it were perhaps expecting to find something wrong with it. The version of Hallowed be Thy Name is my favorite I've heard thus far. Bruce rocks it. Don't be afraid of this one, it's actually very good. - Where is the enhanced part!!!!
I recently bought this and I am curious where the enhanced part of this disk is. It states that it is enhanced. Other than this I think that the CD is a good live show recording! Análisis de usuario - 15 Julio 1999
- Raw, Live and Loud....Maiden fans could not ask for more.
This release is not as bad as what the previous reviewers wrote. It has classic songs that every one remembers. Check it out, you should have no complaints. |
