- Beware!

They took off many of the songs that the original had. Beware when buying this album, make sure it has all the songs including judging minds and dancing on the dole.

- a collection of rare pistol/ex pistols tunes

this is a great find for die hard fan with the only studio recorded version of no fun that i know of considering the sex pistols had enough matterial for a second album before self destructing most you can only get live and many were played many show but the rest were very limited a few were recorded a put mindlessly on albums just for $ale$ (schools are prisons, satilite, substitute, belsen was a gas,I did you no wrong,no lip, stepping stone, understanding, flowers, whatcha gonna do?threw my eyes, and with no fun on this cd)plenty back in the day for an album. and the ex pistols side of this cd is pretty good some great rare matterial with here we go again& revolution in the class room but some of the other song are lacking the true musical talent(can i say that with the sex piatol?yea I can!)that they once showed.

- Pistols collector's gold

The Ex Pistols were one of the most confusing and outrageous Sex Pistols spin-offs. Masterminded by NMTB sound guy Dave Goodman, these several releases of 'Ex Pistols' material (some tracks like Revolution In The Classroom actually having Steve Jones and Paul Cook play on them) were disguised as releases from the real band, confusing thousands of fans to this very day. The Swindle Continues is the largest collection of Ex Pistols material available on CD.

The disc is split into two halves. The first half are Sex Pistols songs from the Spunk recordings (that actually boost SUPERIOR sound quality over the official Spunk CD, especially No Fun) and the other half contains 5 Ex Pistols songs and 3 misc. demos. A rundown of tracks 9-16:

[[HERE WE GO AGAIN]] - Steve & Paul demo, much like Silly Thing. This song was actually going to be in the Great Rock'N'Roll Swindle film but was cut.

[[SILLY THING]] - This is an early demo, not the same is the Swindle/Kiss This version. Paul sings the chorus very differently.

[[DANCING ON THE DOLE]] - EX PISTOLS. Spelt incorrectly on the disc. This is a classic example of Ex Pistols songs and a great addition to the album.

[[ANARCHY IN THE UK]] - This version is NOT Sex Pistols OR Ex Pistols. It is a 'caberet' version, most likely by PUBLIC IMAGE LTD.

[[REVOLUTION IN THE CLASSROOM]] - One of the EX PISTOLS' most popular songs

[[JUDGING MINDS]] - EX PISTOLS

[[SEX ON 45]] - Brilliant medley of Sex Pistols songs like Pretty Vacant, Seventeen and God Save The Queen. Demands multiple replays.

[[THE SWINDLE CONTINUES]] - EX PISTOLS sequal to the Great Rock'N'Roll Swindle's title track. A bit of a ripoff (much like the original song actually).

All in all, this CD is a great collection piece. Anyone who is a fan of the Ex Pistols (who also released songs like SCHOOLS ARE PRISONS) needs to own this. Too bad Johnny forced it out of print.

- Excellent recording of classics

I own the original cd, but was always amazed at just how terrible it sounded. "Muffled" I think is the perfect description for the early recordings. This album, although missing several required songs, has the classics and the recordings are very new sounding. It's almost as if they were completly re-recorded - scratch that - they were re-recorded and the result is excellent.
