The fifth annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival is heading for Burgettstown this summer with one brutal lineup. Topping the bill at the First Niagara Pavilion on July 28 will be Iowa's masked crusaders Slipknot along with thrash metal legends Slayer, who played Stage AE last summer.

The band will appear with Slayer, Anthrax and other Metal heavyweights this summer.

When Anthrax took the stage for 2010’s Big Four tour with thrash-metal peers Slayer, Megadeth and Metallica, it was the only band without any new material. What they were doing was preparing new material with lead singer Joey Belladonna for the first time in more than 20 years. Thursday night, the reunited classic lineup headlines a three-band bill at the Midland theater.
