JUST smash the jeweler’s window and get yourself some for “cheap drugs, satellite TV, free telephone calls and breakfast in bed.” And that’s if you lose and get caught. Win and you get some 18carat gold necklaces, leather-style watchstraps and fame as an entertainer of sorts on TV’s Crimewatch. Villains cannot lose. At least that’s what the Mail says as it uses its front page to announce: “CRIMINALS BREAK IN TO OUR SOFT JAILS.” And so says Glyn Travis, assistant general secretary of the Prison Officers’ Association. He uses the “classic example” of Everthorpe Prison where a drug dealer was using ladders to sneak into the prison grounds and pass drugs though cell windows. No other example is given, creating the suspicion that this “classic example” is the only example of this kind of behaviour and that it is being used to serve Mr Travis’s pet cause. On the matter of breakfast in bed, or “LUXURY LIFE IN OUR JAILS”, as the Express advertises on its front page, a Prison Service spokesman says that prisoners are handed a breakfast pack, which they eat in their bedroom, which also serves as their toilet, lounge, dining room and study. Once you set the clock up, you can start using the ITZBEEN. You click the icon you are working on - ie: after your baby is changed, you press the diaper icon to start the clock. This way, you'll know how long ago you changed junior. Instead of asking yourself, "What time did I change the baby? You'll actually know how long it's been! Incarcerated Joe Francis Faces The Contraband Pill-Popping Music

Joe Francis's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week continued yesterday as he was formally charged on multiple counts for bribing a guard for a bottled water, leading to the discovery of cash and prescription meds in his cell. The AP is quick to remind us, however, that beneath every soft-core mogul and alleged despoiler of teenage virgins lies just a scared little boy and the mother who loves him: When he learned of the new charges, Joe Francis waived his right to a bond hearing for the contempt of court charge that had led to his being jailed. Francis cried as his mother blew him a kiss while he was led from a federal court room back to his cell. "I didn't do anything," he told his parents as he was led away, The News Herald of Panama City reported.Francis, 34, was charged with bribing a public servant, three counts of possessing a controlled substance and five counts of introducing contraband cash and drugs into a detention facility. The charges are third-degree felonies punishable by up to five years in prison. For those keeping score, 16 pills were confiscated, including lorazepam for anxiety and Lunesta, ensuring that no giant, glow-in-the-dark butterflies are going to sail through Francis's barred window, landing gently on his uncomfortable jail-issue pillow to relieve him from his sleepless nights in lockdown.
